Winners of the 6th Annual Green Chile Cook-off

And the Winners of the 6^th Annual Green Chile Cook-off are………

The judging scores are totaled and the votes are counted. It was a fantastic year at the 6^th Annual Ignacio Green Chile Fest! We had 14 contestants this year with 21 samples entered. It was a stiff competition with 9 green chilies, 5 red chilies and 7 salsa competing for a total of 9 awards. Everyone had a great time and we are ready to congratulate the winners!

Green Chile Category
1^st Place goes to….Hector Montijo
in 2^nd Place we have….Camp Creek Cookers, Pat Page
and the People’s Choice votes also goes to….Pat Page with Camp Creek Cookers!

Red Chile Category
1^st Place goes to….Mary Ann Lucero
in 2^nd Place we have… Chuffy Chef Kitchen, Consuela Martinez
and the People’s Choice votes went to….Carlos Lerma

Salsa Category
1^st Place goes to….Cecilia’s Salsa, Sam and Angel Williams
in 2^nd Place we have….Chuffy Chef Kitchen, Consuela Martinez
and the People’s Choice votes went to….Mary Ann Lucero who won with a sweet Mango Habanero Salsa!
