Join us to celebrate 6 amazing years in business with our 6th Annual Brisket Cook-off! This year we have a Corn Hole Tournament, Vendors and Beer Tent too!
The winners are back again and they are ready to take on some new blood in a head to head battle for the best BBQ at the 6th Annual Brisket Cook-off! Saturday, October 9th from 11 to 5pm. You don’t want to miss this yearly event. Enjoy delicious, fresh smoked Brisket and Baby Back Ribs, while you sip an ice cold beer. Vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Award. Dance to live music by Lacey Black. Join the Corn Hole Tournament. Get some early Christmas Shopping done at our many vendors. Including, baked goods, jewelry, knives, jams & jellies, soaps, lotions, Pampered Chef, crafts, decorations and SO MUCH MORE!
All the fun stats at 11am with Brisket & Rib samples, music, beer, corn hole and vendors. Stop by the Farmers Fresh Tent to purchase $1 sample tickets and pick up your Voting Ballot. Vote for your first choice in each meat category and turn it in at the Farmers Fresh Tent by 1pm to be counted. Come early to get your votes in before the BBQ runs out! We will also have Corn on the cob, Watermelon, Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Mexican street corn available.
Lacey Black will be here once again from 11-2pm providing her beautiful music for all to enjoy. The Cook-off Awards Ceremony will be at 2pm, followed Eddie Box Jr. mixing up some tunes until 5pm.
Porky’s Corn Hole Club will be hosting the Corn Hole Tournament, which is a single bracket, doubles tournament. $40 per team with full cash pay out on prizes. Bags fly at 11am. To register, you can download the app, SCOREHOLIO in your app store. Find the tournament listed under Farmers Fresh Brisket Cookoff Corn Hole Tournament and register. Registrations is also available on site at 10:30am before the event starts.
The beer tent benefitting the Ignacio Chamber of Commerce will include locally brewed beers from Bottom Shelf Brewery and Ska, as well as local wine from Fox Fire Farms Winery.
No outside alcohol is permitted in the event.
To participate in the Brisket Cook-off, register to be a vendor or for more information, contact Brittainy at Farmers Fresh Market. 970-563-4400. Deadline is Friday, October 1st. No entry fee, all meat is provided. Awards in both Brisket and Ribs. Meat must be cooked on site. Vendor Booths are $25.
